Check out these Fighter Jets documentary images:

Bill’s Thud
Fighter Jets documentary
Photos of "The Red River Queen", USAF Lt. Col. William "Bill" Pachura’s F105D Thunderchief fighter/bomber #62-4318, on display at Fairview Park in Centralia, Ill. It was dedicated at the park on April 29, 2006.
Pachura, a Clinton County native, flew The Red River Queen on 129 missions during the Vietnam War.
After shooting these, I thought that I might try to get in touch with Pachura for a portrait by his plane, but unfortunately, he died of cancer in 2002.
I did discover that Pachura and the plane were subject of a documentary film called "Bill’s Thud" which highlights the efforts his brother-in-law, Clark Wiens, made to honor Pachura and bring the plane to Illinois for him. "Bill’s Thud" was produced by Wiens and directed by Leo Evans.
