FIRST GUN IS CREATED USING 3D PRINTER BY LAW STUDENT CODY WILSON IN TEXAS

TEXAS, (MPT NEWS)–LAW STUDENT CODY WILSON HAS CREATED THE WORLDS FIRST 3D PRINTED GUN AND INTENDS TO UPLOAD THE CAD FILES SO THAT EVERYBODY CAN PRINT ONE. THIS GUN IS ALL PLASTIC EXCEPT FOR ONE TINY ROD WHICH IS METAL; THE FIRING PIN. THIS GUN WOULD BE UNDETECTABLE THROUGH A METAL DETECTOR SO HIS FIRM IS INSERTING AN UNNEEDED METAL PART IN THE GUN SO IT IS DETECTABLE TO ABIDE BY THE LAW. BUT PEOPLE PRINTING THEM AT HOME PROBABLY WILL NOT DO THIS. STAPLES WILL BE SELLING A 3D PRINTER FOR 1300 DOLLARS AND CARTRIDGES ARE 50 DOLLARS EACH. PRINT CARTRIDGES THAT IS, AND HE SAID YOU NEED TWO. THE GUN ALSO CAN CHANGE OUT CYLINDERS TO CHANGE THE CALIBER OF ROUND FIRED. THE GUN IS CALLED THE LIBERATOR AND HIS FIRM IS DEFENSE DISTRIBUTED.A TYPE OF STRONG PLASTIC IS USED IN PLACE OF INK AND THE JETS ACTUALLY MOVE AROUND IN THREE SPACIAL DIMENSIONS TO PRINT THE PART THEN THE PLASTIC HARDENS IN THAT SHAPE.
