At least one was killed and more than 30 were injured after a car plowed into pedestrians on the famous Las Vegas Strip on Sunday night.
The crash occurred on Las Vegas Boulevard near the Planet Hollywood Resort. The offending car was reportedly driven by a female driver who had 3-year-old child with her in the vehicle, KSNV News3LV reported.
A witness told CNN affiliate KLAS that the driver had both hands on her wheel and didn’t seem like she wanted to stop the car. Some pedestrians tried to stop the car but weren’t able to. She drove away from the scene after the crash.
According to CNN, at least one person was killed and seven were in critical condition. A total of 37 people were treated by paramedics.
It was not clear if the female driver drove her car onto the sidewalk intentionally. She has been arrested and is undergoing various tests including alcohol test, CNN reported.
